Thank you for your interest in covering the first Affordable Flying Expo. We look forward to working alongside you to document this exciting new chapter in general aviation.

While Aero-News Network is proud to host the Affordable Flying Expo, we welcome and encourage participation from other media outlets. This event is designed to be a collaborative effort within the aviation community, one that promotes shared storytelling and collective support rather than competition among publications. Together, we can inspire the next generation of aviators, highlight industry innovation, and support the continued growth of grassroots aviation.

Credential Overview

**PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. FOR SECURITY PURPOSES, NO WALK-UP REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.**

Before requesting credentials, please review our credential requirements below. Failure to familiarize yourself with these could delay the processing of your credential request. The link to the request form is at the bottom of the page.

The issuance of an Affordable Flying Expo Media Credential and admission to AFE is conditional upon your acceptance of the policies. The number of media credentials issued to each outlet will be limited to a reasonable number at AFE’s discretion.

  • Video/Film crews– limit 4 crew and 2 talent
  • Radio or Podcast crews – limit 2 crew and 2 talent
  • Print or Internet media– limit 1 photographer and 1 reporter

Any personnel over that limit will be encouraged to purchase admission tickets. Exceptions may be considered with a detailed explanation emailed to mktg@aero-news.net.

Note: Press IDs from organizations that charge a fee for the ID are not sufficient for media credentials.

The Affordable Flying Expo reserves the right to request additional information and may approve or reject credential requests at its discretion.

Definitions & Eligibility

Working Media

Affordable Flying Expo media credentials are for working media representatives only. Credentials will not be issued to family members, friends, children, or those working in marketing, advertising, promotions, or sales. Company executives, management personnel, or corporate officers do not qualify.

Video/Film Production Crews

Film/production must be pre-approved by the AFE Communications Director before receiving credentials.

Photographers

  • Photographers must be on assignment from a publication or website (with an assignment letter and outlet credential).
  • Each photographer assigned by a qualifying media outlet is entitled to one media credential. Requests must be submitted by the outlet, not the photographer.
  • No assistants or extra crew are eligible. Exceptions require a detailed request to mktg@aero-news.net.
  • Credentialed photographers must wear their badge and vest at all times to access official media areas.
  • Photographers will be credentialed for editorial use only. Those working for stock houses, resale, or commercial purposes will not be credentialed.
  • Freelance and amateur photographers are encouraged to purchase admission tickets and will not be credentialed as media.

Websites and Digital Newsletters

AFE does not automatically recognize websites, blogs, and newsletters as working media outlets. While many do distribute information, we cannot issue credentials to every digital outlet. Applicants may request credentials via the online form, and AFE will review.

Student Projects

Student groups studying communications, journalism, or videography may be considered for one-day credentials. A formal request from the instructor with a project outline, student names, and the final product must be submitted to mktg@aero-news.net.

Social Media

“Influencers” wishing to cover AFE should apply through the standard media credential process and will be vetted under the same guidelines as all other media applicants.
