The Second Annual Affordable Flying Expo is set to return November 13–15, 2026, at the renowned Lakeland Linder International Airport in Lakeland, Florida, home of SUN ’n FUN. Rain or shine, the event will again feature indoor exhibits inside the hangars and flying demonstrations on the main runways (no need to trek all the way to Paradise City). Attendees can get up close with aircraft, enjoy demo flights, connect with exhibitors, and take part in hands-on workshops. Exhibitors will also benefit from direct engagement with eager aviation enthusiasts and potential buyers in a proven high-impact sales environment. At least six aircraft were sold during the inaugural event. Year two promises even greater engagement, more qualified prospects, meaningful connections, and valuable insights into the vibrant world of sport aviation.
In the wake of the well-attended Sebring and DeLand fly-ins fading into history, a void has been felt across the sport aviation community. While iconic events like SUN ‘n FUN and Oshkosh showcase the best in aviation, their sheer scale often limits opportunities for one-on-one interaction with the aircraft, in-depth inspections, and demo flights.
